Job Summary and Qualifications

Pain management nurses are responsible for the care of patients with chronic or acute pain. Once they have assessed a patient's pain, they work closely with doctors and other nurses to create a treatment plan. Pain management nurses administer medications and provide pain relief through other therapeutic methods.

About this unit:

• Staff has a lot of tenure and experience.
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• The Pain Clinic has a close relationship with its patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
