Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is the leading health care provider in Chicago’s western suburbs with a Level I Trauma Center. We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Team on day shift!
Schedule:
- Full time on 1st shift
- 4 x 10 hour shifts (0700-1700)
- On call and holiday obligations
- Benefits start on your first day (medical, dental and vision)!
- $6,000 sign on bonus

Position Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA and NCCT Certifications accepted)
- 2 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred
- Ability to independently perform scrub duties

Major Responsibilities:
- Performs duties in the scrub role as assigned
- Responsible for the preparation of the surgical field and supplies/instruments delivered to the field
- In collaboration with health care team, assists in providing for a cooperative work environment
- Responsible for compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Responsible for maintenance of professional growth
