Job Title: RN - Med Surg
Location: Mount Sinai West, New York, NY 10019
Shift: Night 3x12 (7pm – 7:30am), EOW
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care based on the nursing process and professional standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, collaborating with the care team.
- Educate patients and caregivers about care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Ensure high-quality patient experiences, incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care.
- Monitor and improve patient safety and quality through evidence-based practices.
- Perform charge nurse duties and manage resources efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and hospital standards.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to a collaborative care environment.
- BSN required (associate's degree considered with relevant experience or active BSN matriculation).
- Current New York State RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- BLS required; EPIC experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
