RN – Operating Room (CVOR)

Client: Universal Health Services, Inc.
Location: Northwest Texas Healthcare System, 1501 Coulter Street, Amarillo, TX 79106
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week), Day Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM + Call)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, competent nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
Assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (e.g., CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs).
Demonstrate proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles.
Adhere to facility policies, standards, and patient-centered care principles.
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EHR.

Requirements:

Licensure: Active RN license in Texas (required).
Education: Graduate of accredited/NLN-approved RN program (BSN preferred).
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required).
Experience:
- 3+ years CVOR experience (required).
- 1+ year OR experience (scrub and circulate) considered.
Travel Restriction: Must reside 100+ miles away from facility.
