Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is the leading health care provider in Chicago’s western suburbs with a Level I Trauma Center. We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Team on day shift!

Schedule:

Full time on 1st shift
4 x 10 hour shifts (0700-1700)
On call and holiday obligations
Benefits start on your first day (medical, dental and vision)!
$6,000 sign on bonus

Position Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA and NCCT Certifications accepted)
2 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred
Ability to independently perform scrub duties

Major Responsibilities:

Performs duties in the scrub role as assigned
Responsible for the preparation of the surgical field and supplies/instruments delivered to the field
In collaboration with health care team, assists in providing for a cooperative work environment
Responsible for compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Responsible for maintenance of professional growth
