Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Electrophysiology Lab PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for post-anesthesia care and discharge of post EP procedural patients. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for assigned patients.

You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care

You will provide age appropriate direct patient care

You will participate in monitoring and controlling a safe environment

You will monitor patient in recovery phase

Job Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of general nursing experience in an acute care setting or previous PACU, EP Recovery or critical care experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Education

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses and Certifications

Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
