Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care (LTC) – Contract Opportunity in Feasterville Trevose, PA! CCI is currently seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity. One year of experience required.

$1575.00 Net weekly take home. Paid Weekly. (Travel Rate)
$43.75 (Local Rate)
13-week contract
Schedule - (Mon - Fri / 8-hour days) On call weekends

Position Summary:

LTC (Geriatric) Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to older patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles, under direct supervision of a RN or Physician in a LTC Facility.

Responsibilities Include: Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plansPrepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.Records patients’ medical information and vital signsAssesses the patients’ ability to do routine daily tasksAssists patients with such basic needs as dressing, eating, and bathing, and encourages patients to do things for themselves to retain feelings of independence and self-esteemPromotes the desirability of quality end-of-life care for older adultsInvolves, educates, and when appropriate, supervises family/significant others in implementing best practices for older adults SNF nurses care for the physical and psychosocial needs of patients. They focus on maximizing patients’ functional abilities, as well as promoting, maintaining and restoring their physical and mental health.Because patients need round-the-clock care, working hours include days, nights, weekends and holidays.Physical Demands:

Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than (100) pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board
Minimum of one (1) year LTC experience
