Job Description and Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• Open to new grads
• Ortho experience for an experienced PT
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

PLUSES:

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy preferred.
• Experience with Web PT

DAY TO DAY:

Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care. They will see 1.5 – 2 patients per hour doing head to toe ortho treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation and Treatment:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to reduce pain and improve function.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, as necessary.
• Patient Education:
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
  • Provide guidance on injury prevention and health promotion.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
• Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
